Today's my father's birthday. (I'll be nice enough to not give his age, not that he really cares, I don't think.) We're going out to a local fish restaurant (Catfish N, for those in the area) for dinner tonight, which should be nice.
My birthday sits only a couple of days past his, so I'm sure there was a lot of excitement/angst/etc. 32 years ago when I was running a couple of weeks late, wondering if I would be sharing his birthday. If that'd happened, I couldn't think of many people better to be sharing it with.
