Just a little check-in before the weekend commences. I have PT here in a bit so I won't be around long.
The progress right now is slow but fairly steady. Seems like we see some changes every day, even if they aren't just earth-shaking. My grip is well up and the arms are doing well. We may go to 1 OT and 3 PTs a day soon, but I'm not sure.
The left knee is still very weak, but it is improving. It can hold my leg out a little bit now, which is much more than it could do even at the beginning of the week. The right leg is getting to where it can hold the leg almost straight out, which is very good as well. Still quite a way from standing or walking, though, I think. If I'm out of here in a month, that'd be quite a pleasant surprise.
I was going to go home for a few hours on Sunday, but Meron came down sick yesterday (so she and Benjamin are staying out at my parents) plus it is supposed to be quite icy and yucky Sunday as well, so I think we'll postpone it until after they get back from Ohio, unless it's looking like I'm almost out of here.
The Wednesday night poker games are still going on. I've come in third once and second three times, but can't ever break through and win the whole thing. They may have sympathy on a cripple, but that only goes so far!
Spring training is starting, which is wonderful. The good thing about the upcoming World Baseball Classic is that I should be able to watch a lot of the games, something I wouldn't be able to do at work. Joy in every situation!
Have a great weekend and I'll update as soon as possible!

Glad you're gonna get to watch the WBC. I might duck out of a class or two to watch some games.
Get better soon. God bless.
Sounds like you're making progress. Stay the course, my friend!
Keep the good news/making progress updates coming. We like to hear those.
