No need to get excited--I'm still here in rehab, finally getting another day to play a bit in cyberspace. Wish I had more dramatic news to report, but unfortunately that's not to be.
We have seen some good progress in the last few days, especially on the left leg. It has gotten stronger and the knee is locking a little better. Still, I'm not standing without aid yet, and when I do get on my feet, there is often a weird sensation that may be due to the pressure being put on them.
My arms have improved a lot since I've been in here. I can hold Benjamin up in the air now with relative confidence. I'm not sure if I could lift him from the ground to the wheelchair, since there's limited room to lean back there, but between that and the grip strengths that have increased every time they've been measured, it looks like my arms are probably around 85-90% of what they normally are.
Meron and Benjamin are heading to Ohio in a little over a week. They'll be up there for about 10 days, celebrating Meron's 30th and letting the grandparents and friends and family see the little guy. They've not seen him since he was about 6 months old, so they are really in for a treat. I'm hoping to be out of here by time they get back, but I wouldn't necessarily bet on it.
Other than that, no big news. The PPT guys are coming up every Wednesday and playing some Hold'em, which is great. There's usually an update on that website on how I'm doing, so check that out if I don't get a chance to catch up here.
Hope everything is good with you and hopefully it won't be two weeks before I update again!

I'll check in on ya again soon C70. The Mods are trying to keep "the lounge" clean until you get back. There is a lot more Root Beer to go around since you've been gone. But, hurry back. We all miss ya, and want to get things back to a "male-advantage".
Sounds like quite a bit of progress since your last update. That's good news. We need you to hurry back. Brew is tearing the place apart. And it's time to start some drafting. ;)
Keep up the recovery. We miss you!.
Glad to hear you're making progress, C. Just keep plugging away...I'll be thinking good thoughts for you.

I miss you terribly, C. We all do. Keep your chin up-we're all pulling for you!
