Softball Update

Quick post to put up the results of last night's softball game. We showed some improvement, only trailing 2-0 when we came up to bat the first time and 9-0 after two. Finally lost 22-0 but we did get to play four innings, which is a step up. Bobby, my co-manager, and I have some ideas on strategy now, including getting more ground balls and trying to limit the multitude of inside-the-park-HR that we tend to give up. We'll see if they improve us next week.

I went 0-1, coming up in the second with two of our three baserunners for the game on base and two outs. I smacked the first pitch--but right to the shortstop, who forced the runner at second.

.500 on the season and hopefully one game I'll get more than one AB. :)

Poker tonight. Hopefully that'll go a little better!
